A five-year doctorate in pharmacy, accredited by the Pharmacy Council of Pakistan and affiliated with the University of the Punjab.
Overview
The PharmD at IICP follows the structure and academic calendar set by the University of the Punjab. The first three years establish grounding in pharmaceutical, biomedical, and clinical sciences; the final two years shift toward applied clinical pharmacy, culminating in supervised hospital and community rotations.
Students train in modern laboratories and undergo structured hospital clinical rotations, equipping them for careers in clinical practice, hospital pharmacy, industrial pharmaceutical manufacturing, and research.
Structure
On Graduation
Evaluate patient therapy, identify drug-related problems, and recommend evidence-based interventions.
Apply pharmacology, pharmaceutics, and medicinal chemistry to real formulation and therapy decisions.
Counsel patients and collaborate with physicians and nurses within a professional code of ethics.
Accreditation & Recognition
Degrees are awarded under the examination authority of the University of the Punjab, fully recognised by the Pharmacy Council of Pakistan (PCP).
